Vivid Design Studio is an architecture and interior design practice based in Bhaktapur, working with a select clientele across Nepal — for whom design, and the way it is delivered, is never a place to economise.
Our story
Vivid Design Studio Pvt. Ltd. was founded on a simple belief: exceptional buildings come from architects and clients creating together. Established in 2012, we have grown into one of Nepal's most trusted design practices — more than 55 residences, over 21 major interior projects, cooperative and commercial buildings, and a dozen land developments, alongside partnerships as design consultant to leading companies such as Clean Developers Pvt. Ltd. and Sagar Distillery.
We work by selection rather than volume. A limited number of commissions each year lets us give every project the depth of thought a fine building deserves — and lets us hold a standard we will not lower. Every design we deliver is modelled in 3D and filmed as a walkthrough — more than 88 films to date — so our clients decide with their eyes, not their imagination. Being based in Bhaktapur, in the shadow of the finest architecture ever built in Nepal, sets our benchmark: buildings should be beautiful, structurally honest, and made to last generations.
How we think
Design follows the site. Sun, slope, views, and neighbourhood shape every plan before style does.
Engineering is not an afterthought. Structure, seismic safety, and services are designed alongside the architecture, not bolted on later.
Innovation with responsibility. We push for efficient, sustainable buildings — passive cooling, daylight, rainwater harvesting — because they cost less to run and treat their place with respect.
