Easy PC Cleaner

A junk-file cleaner that tells you exactly what it will remove, and removes nothing until you tick it. No invented error counts, no registry claims, no upsell.

How it works

Scan, review, clean.

Nothing is removed until you tick it

01 · SCAN

It only reads

The scan looks in the places the bundled rules list, and does nothing else. Your documents are never examined.

02 · REVIEW

You decide

Results are grouped by category with what each one is and how much space it holds. Tick what you want gone. See the actual files if you want to.

03 · CLEAN

And it reports back

Junk is deleted permanently, so the space is freed straight away. Every clean writes a report you can read afterwards.

What it removes

All ten rules, in full.

The complete list — nothing else is touched

One thing it cannot do yet

The scan runs as you, not as an administrator. Folders it is not allowed to even list — the Delivery Optimization cache always, and Windows temp on some machines — are shown as Needs administrator and are not cleaned in this version. Scanning as administrator is the next release's job. We would rather say so here than let you find out afterwards.

What it looks like

The whole program is two screens.

Real captures from the built app

The Easy PC Cleaner home screen: one round Start button above a three-step Scan, Review, Clean progress bar.
HOME — ONE BUTTON, NOTHING ELSE TO LEARN
The Review screen after a scan: category cards, each with a tick box, a plain-language note and the space it holds. The list scrolls, so the last card is cut off.
REVIEW — TICK WHAT YOU WANT REMOVED · THE LIST SCROLLS, SO THE LAST CARD IS CUT OFF HERE

Before you install

What Windows will say.

And why — told straight

Windows protected your PC
Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

You will see this, and it is not a virus warning

It means the installer is not yet signed with a paid certificate, so Windows does not recognise the publisher. We have not bought one yet. Until we do, every download of Easy PC Cleaner will show this — including this one.

You do not have to take our word for it. Check the file against the hash below before you run it, and upload it to VirusTotal if you want a second opinion.

Just as important

What it does not do.

The things that make cleaners untrustworthy

×

No invented error counts. It reports the files it found and their size. There is no score, no "1,247 problems detected".

×

No registry cleaning. Registry cleaners do not measurably speed up a PC, and they do break things. So there isn't one.

×

No upsell. There is no paid tier, so nothing is withheld to sell you later. Free is the whole product.

×

No background service. It runs when you open it and stops when you close it. Nothing starts with Windows.

×

It refuses to run as administrator. Only a small separate step elevates, for system folders, after a prompt you can decline.

×

Nothing leaves your machine without asking. Reports stay in your own folder. Besides the update check, which you can turn off, the app only sends anonymous usage counts if you say yes when it first asks — never file names or anything about you. What exactly is sent.
